Abstract

Financial information for MSMEs has its own interests to find out the profits or losses experienced by the company, to find out the company's financial performance and is also useful for applying for capital to banks. Unfortunately, many MSMEs do not compile financial information according to the rules, so far they have only compiled it in a conventional way. The Bruwun Alas joint venture is a group of MSMEs in the Notog District of Banyumas. The implementation of community service was packaged in a focus group discussion, which was attended by 28 MSME groups in Banyumas Regency. Prior to the start of the FGD, participants were given a preliminary questionnaire on the need for a financial report in the business being run. 80% of MSME business actors have not properly recorded accounting, so that the preparation is only limited to incoming and outgoing cash. The problems faced by the Bruwun Alas joint venture group are the lack of human resources, the absence of accounting training, the need for a place of business, the need for capital and the marketing system which is still not optimal. The provision of socialization to prepare a simple financial report for MSMEs is in great demand, so that participants can prepare a balance sheet and profit and loss statement. Even though conventional financial reports will at least help in assessing business profits and losses and moreover they can be used to apply for business capital.
