Abstract

At this time many students experience learning difficulties both in academic and non-academic, this is because the ability level of each person is different. students who have learning difficulties, especially in learning mathematics, should be cared for and trained so that they can easily understand a lesson. Students who experience learning difficulties should be provided with a study assistance, so that they can easily understand the material being taught, especially in mathematics. This problem is also found in students at MTS Siulak Gedang, therefore a learning assistance process is carried out for students who have difficulty learning mathematics. After the learning assistance lasted for two meetings, there were changes in the students, those who previously had difficulty working on math problems, after receiving study assistance, they were able to solve the questions given by the teacher. Therefore, learning assistance is needed for students who have difficulty learning mathematics. This mentoring also aims to determine the level of students' understanding of the lessons being taught and assist students who do not understand a lesson and see the results of the assistance provided before.
